My first Special Appointment Update!

Well ladies I am back home. I went to my specialist appointment today and it was wonderful. Let's first off start by saying the doctor and all his staff were truly amazing. I went in and the nurse came in and asked a few run of the mill questions. The doctor came in and we talked for a few and then he proceeded to tell me what I needed to hear. He didn't really say why he thinks I am having the issues I am having but he told me how he intends to fix them. I start provera as soon as my blood tests come back (to confirm I'm not pregnant) then after 10 days of provera I will call the office when I start to bleed. 3 days after I start bleeding I will start 50mg of Clomid as well as going in for a dye test to make sure all my plumbing is working ok and I have no blockages. After my 5 days of Clomid I will go in for an ultrasound. That ultra sound will test to see how my body is reacting to the clomid. If the egg is measured ok and mature they will then have me either get a shot at the office or do a hCG injection at home. Then after the injection we will be BD for two days straight trust me. Then we'll go from there. He was a very positive person and very proactive in helping me solve my TTC and cycle problem. He is also sending my DH in for a semen analysis next week just to make sure this isn't all for nothing. I was amazed at how quick this is all gonna go and glad I don't have to sit around and have a bunch of repetitive tests to then go to these steps. And he said the tests he is actually running is just to make sure the odds aren't against us. I am so excited and relieved and am anxious for my upcoming journey. I am going to go somewhere tomorrow and by a journal so I can start tracking everything and keep my thoughts and emotions in a place to look back and reminisce with my kids.   Trust me I will keep everyone posted along the way and I hope you'll all be there routing for me....yay for good appointments, doctors, and outlooks!!!

It sounds like you have a wonderful paln in mind that's ready to get into action! That's wonderful news Lavonne! And finding a grear doctor is so hard these days, I am so glad you found one you can trust!

Yeah I'm super excited. He is being very proactive and positive so hopefully that will lead to a BFP for me. I'll keep everyone updated.
