You have to know a lot of your family's medical history. Your mom's side and your father's side. at least for egg donation. I looked into it a while ago, but found out that I can't do it because I don't have access to my father's side of the family's medical information.

As for the carrying the baby for the couple/mom/dad... I'm not exactly sure how that goes, but I would think it would be their egg and their sperm... the baby just grows in you and comes out of you.

Usually for egg donation and carrying the child, the couple/parent pays for all medical bills and everything associated with it.
