What more can I do?

Hey, I am waiting for my Medicade to come through, but I feel as a future mother I should be doing more than just sitting and waiting. Does anyone have advice As to what I should do while I have to wait.
They say it could take up to 45 days.

sense ur preg it shouldnt take that long, call and ask everyday, i had the same issue with my first pregnancy, and i called everyday and i think they got sick of me calling nad processed it

Make sure and take all your prenatals. If you start having cramping and bleeding or you just don't feel right go to the ER because medicaid will backdate your coverage and cover an emergency visit if you need one. You can also look into going to a free or low cost clinic at your health department to get basic bloodwork done and make sure things are going well.

Get some prenatal vitamins from the store and make sure you are eating healthy.

Yea I am Deff. Taking my prenatal's. I don't know why But, I have the hardest time Swallowing pills. It Literaly takes me 30 mins.

i know at least in washington your coverage starts the day you appy, so although youre not approved yet, you can still go to the doc.

whoa! that's scary because i'm about to go and apply for mine and i hope they don't tell me that. i've already missed one doctor's appointment because my old insurance isn't covering me anymore and i'm not waiting that long to go back to the dr. but there should be a health department you could be seen at until your medicaid goes into effect. after that medicaid will pay for anything 3 months prior to you being approved

Yea, I think I might just go and Say that my Medicade is Pending right now. Because Even though I am only 6 weeks along Almmost 7 tommorrow I still Worry constantly.
I think I will worry til' I hear the heartbeat.
Do all woman worry Like me or am I going crazy lol?

Yup just what she said and I would also call Medicaid to just check-in on the process.
