Drugstore SD card printer thingie...?

posted 14th Jul
Ok random question...
Has anyone ever used the machine (i think its Kodak) in CVS, Walgreensor Walmart in which you can put your digicamera or cell phone's SD card in and get photo prints of your digital prints?
All of my belly pics were done on my cell phone and i hate the way they look on printed paper so I really want to get some film quality copies for my scrapbook.
If youve used that machine before- do you know what each picture cost to print or if it was really hard to use?

I think it's like 23 cents a piece. My photo's look fine from those printers.

Its pretty cheap and very easy to use!! pics look good too, if they look ok on your phone.

I think I may give it a shot. I'm just not liking the quality my printer is doing on the photopaper. It looks grainy. So I hope this machine works out better.

If it looks grainy it's probably because your phone takes low resolution pictures (most do). It can't hurt to try and print it though and it's usually only around .20 per 4x6 copy.

I just had some prints done at Rite Aid and their regular price was 23 cents for instant photos. Costco does them for 17 cents. Or you can join Shutterfly and get them for 15 cents, but I think you have to get them mailed to you.

Yeah they really are not that spendy.. But as far as the graininess (is that a word?) it would depend on the camera resolution quality and the printer.. So if your printer does great with photos from your digital camera for example but not your phone it could be your phones resolution.. Hope it works good for you though!

Oooh i never thought of that!!! Cuz the pictures are really clear when I upload them onto my computer (as you can see in all my BG pics lol) but look like poop on the paper after being printed.

yeah, my printer started doing that when i was printing from my professional camera, i bought new ink and everything, turns out it was just the paper.

Staples usually has it pretty cheap, but i don't know how accessible Staples is for you.
