There's couples out there, male and female that are just as irresponsible.

I think your example is just that. One example.... I could show you a million straight people with the same problems! My fiances uncle has a husband, they have been together for years! They had a surrogate carry their twin girls (sperm for one, the eggs of the others sister). The girls are the same age as my son and have two loving, stable parents that make a hell of a lot more money than kyle and I do. In my eyes they are a sucessful loving family!

My son goes to school with a little boy who has "two mommies". I have met the couple and they seem pretty happy and stable to me. The little boy seems very happy too. One of the moms stays at home and she is one heck of a mom. She even made him a homemade robot costume for halloween - meanwhile, I am out at Walmart buying one.  I think that as long as too people love each other and respect each other - it doesn't matter whether they are two males, two females, or a woman and a man. Love shouldn't have any boundaries but I see you looking at the situation from the way your cousin is. That has nothing to do with her being a lesbian. she is just lazy.

I'd rather raised by a same sex couple than in an orphanage.
I'd don't see why people make such a big deal about gay couples wanting to have kids.

My kids get made fun of because they are mixed. Can they help it? No. I was made fun of for being Native and because i had no daddy. Could i change that? No.

Kids are going to make fun of other kids no matter what the family setup is... they will find something.

that is SO true... i got made fun of for my red hair   Just not as bad as they do.

I think, that if the home life is good, and loving enough, it can over power the bad things from school with no problem.

It's actually proven too that same sex marriages/relationships have a less rate of splitting up/divorce.

And kids raised in same sex marriages are better open minded. They aren't as closeminded and one sided as many of us raised in a "normal" household.

Hmmm. I don't see anything wrong with same sex paretning. although in her situation as a person i don't think that having another child would be wise from what you are saying. as for the kids being made fun of.... its a sad situation but you can't expect her mom to change her ligheftyle becuase of a couple brats say at school. kids are mean little things! lol

I got made fun of for being skinny in school when I was little no matter what kids will find something.

the only people who seemed to get away with not being made fun of were the preps, but i know we unpopulars sure talked shit behind their backs!!!
