Should we apply for biggest loser?

posted 13th Jul
My husband and I are considering applying for the Australian Couples Biggest Loser.
I weigh 152.6kgs and he weighs just over 120kgs.
Our main reason for wanting to do it is health and the fact we have been TTC for over 3 years.
My husband doesn't think there is any point because we wouldn't get picked but you have to be in it to win it right?
So do you think we should apply or forget about it?

There's no harm in trying, plus there's still a chance that you'll win it.

But I've seen lots of articles how most of the previous contestans put most of the weight back on after they leave the house. But at least then you'd both learn what you have to do to get the extra weight off

I say go for it! The worst that could happen is not getting selected, right? Good luck!

Go for it! If you make it, it would be fun. Plus, even if you don't get first place the weight you lose is already a prize!

I say go for it. You never know. You might get picked. It couldn't hurt to try anyway. I think it would be a fun experience no matter what.

I'd say go for it. And even if you don't make it and you're concerned about your weight... You can start your own diet/exercise routines.

Look, you aren't going to believe me, but really NO. It's unsafe and unhealthy. There even if you don't listen, I tried.

True...don't they work out every day for like 6-8 hours? And then take dieting pills and live off of salads and fish? Seems a bit extreme.
