I've wondered about Jillian too. She would scare me, I think. She has bigger muscles than my husband.
This is making me feel bad for not exercising.

I signed a ridiculous contract that says they can sue me for everything I just put in this thread along with numerous other quasi-legal things. They have threatened once to sue for a million but have yet to come after me....hubby says "let 'em try"

Yeah, as far as I know Jillian too. I never met her, Pammy did and says that she is a kickass trainer that knows her stuff.

So I know you are probably tired of hearing this but you were my favorite on that season andI think you are even more awesome now after reading your blogs. That is great that you have so much support and are dealing with it in a more healthy way. My hubby and I always talked about the show and how unrealistic it is.(which really sucks that it's that way). I'm also glad to know that it's not jsut for show that Bob really seems to care about his people that he trains(I'm sure the others do too but he just seems different about it.) Good luck with your pregnancy and everything else

I have been off reading your blog and reading bits and pieces to Rodney (hubby).
I knew some of that stuff but not all of it.
He has lost weight before and did it in a really unhealthy way and said nothing can be as bad as what he did.
I must admit I have my resevations after reading your blog.

They've interviewed all the top Australian contestants for TBL and they've all said they were forced to take dieting pills, so maybe it's just the Aussie one that does it...

But it sucks that you had to go through so much just to lose some weight. I can't even imagine how horrible it would've been for you.

No. Biggest loser contestants don't lose weight in a healthy way, like another poster said.

BUT: I think it would be a real plus for you to try to lose weight. It's really hard to TTC when you're so overweight, and it may just jump start your cycles...

We have been told my weight has nothing to do with me not being able to conceive, by several doctors. But I do want to lose weight for a healthier pregnancy and baciaclly just for me to feel better about myself.
I have already lost 10kgs, or about 22lbs, on my own.

I'm sorry but as overweight as you are, it really does. I don't care what the doctors say. I've been there, trust me I've been there. The only way that we were able to concieve Will was after I dropped about 50lbs. Losing weight somehow kick starts your system and makes it more "baby ready". All I can go by is personal experience, and the experience of my close friends and realitives, though.

That's great that you've lost that much on your own. The only thing that I have found that works and keeps working, and keeps it off it sensible diet and exercise.

I lost that weight by eating salads and only allowing me one "naughty day" a fortnight and also by walking for half an hour to an hour a day.
I recently had to stop walking due to health problems but really hope to get back to it soon, Doyle really wants us to get back into walking aswell lol.

I'm right here with ya girl, I'll be your weight loss partner! I've tried and tried and tried to lose weight, but PCOS is kicking my butt. It's hard when you eat right, work out, bust your butt in gear and then you gain weight. I started a myspace page to help me lose weight, if you want the link pm me. *hugs*

Walking is fabulous for you! In one of my blogs I talk about my little sister who lost 95 pounds by changing her diet and walking this past year and a half, it took longer than my 7 month crash diet for the show, but she looks amazing and is soooooo much healthier than I was when I did TBL. It should take time, the odds of my keeping my weight off compared to her are crap, slower = healthier and more likely to stay off.
