re: IS IT REALLY $300 FOR A CIRCUMSION

Quoting 2 weeks left he will b he:“ i just dont like auncircumsized penis thats just me its not being shallow n no way shape nor form its just something that i dont like thats all why would i settle for something that would cause a problem n a relationship because i was unhappy”

I Love my husband for being who he is, even if he is cut, but definitely prefer uncut. So if I used your logic, I would say that a cut one would cause a problem in my relationship. Same for some other ladies out there. But seriously I don't want to think about my little boy that way. But ultimately it is your own choice, I just believe in taking personal preferences out of the equation as much as possible(leave it until it's the deciding factor, and research both sides of the debate, and the middle of it) in such a potentially life long decision for someone else. But other than that in Alberta it's not covered by most Health Care providers, especially Provincial, and costs (at the hospital where we would have had it done the told us) $500, where as most Family/pedi's charge around $250-$300, but a Rabbi performing a Briss is like less than $100.

I enjoy uncut as well...I have to say it has some advantages! My husband is cut and he is wonderful though...but he only got circumcised like 5 years ago.

Passort paid for it? Medicaid doesn't pay here. i'm in between the baton rouge// new orleans area and it's 350 plus a pediatricians fee. the hospital said they would do it for 425. rip off! the best day to do it is eight days after birth (thats when jewish baby boys have theirs done) turns out the eighth day the babies blood cells that help with clotting are at their highest so there will be less bleeding. and yeah, you don't have to get it done now but wait until he's too much older and it will cost more.

Hmm... you act like she knew from the very beginning of her pregnancies that she was only going to have girls   You don't think this is a question that crosses a woman's mind no matter what sex of a child they end up having?

OP: if your insurance doesn't pay for it I HIGHLY suggest you just go ahead and plunk down the $300 to have it done by a doctor you know and trust. This is NOT something you should be shopping around for. My insurance covered it, yours might as well.

I'm going to get my son circumcised.. that's just me. I know medicaid doesn't cover it.. I'm sure you can just pay it off monthlylike a bill if you can't afford it right now.
I have a friend who got his done at like 20 due to confidence reasons.. anyhowhe said it SUCKED, which I can imagine.

It didn't cross my mind at all, and I found out rather late (24 weeks) that I was having a girl, so I had plenty of time to think it over.

Well I guess everyone's different, lol. I thought about it way before I was even pregnant. I guess I just don't see why EmmaGrace having girls would be brought into it, when it's pretty easy to see that some women think about it before they know what sex they're having.

Maybe I never thought about it because I was always dead set upon having a girl. I wouldn't allow myself to think that I was having a boy. I always thought she was a girl from the moment I found myself pissing on the stick, haha.

I knew I was having a boy when I found out I was pregnant. But then again, a psychic told me that I was pregnant with a boy, waaaaay before I could even take the test. So, yeah, I had help, lol.

We thought about circ before then, though. Mostly b/c of our religous beliefs. I don't have a problem either way, if you do you do, if you don't you don't. I've been with guys who have been and who haven't been and I'm pretty non discriminating. I think penises are ugly no matter what (and I've seen more than you could shake a stick out, lol!).

I sware you say one little thing and it seems to piss everyone off. wasnt trying to make anyone mad just stating my opinion, as was emmagrace , its really not that big of a deal and im sorry if anyone with girls took offence to it.
