miley cyrus.... hrmmm.

soooo here's what i can't decide. should miley be criticized for doing what all other teenagers in the united states of america (and probably the rest of the world) are doing just because she's a teenage superstar??

on the one hand, she should know that she's in the spotlight - millions of little girls are looking at her right now, thinking she's this wonderful, beautiful, perfect little thing. let's face it - she certainly is a role model. maybe not for girls 15+, but for the younger ones, yeahhhh she's high up there on the list.

knowing this, can she really be excused for the things she does? some people speculate that her reaction to the uproar makes it seem like she's only apologizing because she has to... not because she truly believes she did anything wrong.

at the same time, she's young!! she can't be expected to behave perfectly all of the time!! look at vanessa hudgens - her pictures were all-out nudity. this is the world we live in today. maybe it's her parents' fault for not properly guiding her the way they should be. maybe it's these stupid half-dressed cheerleader barbie dolls all over the toy stores. yeah. we're imprinting it on them at a reaaaalllly young age... don't ya think??

I don't think Miley Cyrus need to be the blame, maybe a lil more responsible. But as for a mother of a lil girl, I feel that it is my duty as a parent to protect my child from what she sees on t.v., bratt dolls, etc.

Iagree! When you put a child in the spotlight like that they follow in other peoples footsteps! I def dont want my daughter to be a "star"! I still think that Miley Cyrus is a girl that is following into the wrong footsteps of some of these stars!
