SPOTTiNG...

i know this has probably been posted a hundred times. but oh well.

I'm officially starting my 38th week today seeing as they changed my due date to the 27th of this month.  but i've been having contractions for the past 3 days (not sure if it's BH or real) and i began spotting (reddish brown) yesterday. and it's not a lot of blood but it's been a constant trickle. everytime i pee there's a fresh spot on my undies and a drip in the toilet. i'm just wondering if that's normal this late in pregnancy or if i should call L&D

I'd call the doc or go in if there is blood .

call your dr or L&D. Its always better to be safe than sorry.

Its more than likely just bloody show which is an indication of early labor. If it gets much heavier than spotting, or the contractions get worse, then give the doc a call. You will more than likely be told to wait it out til you are in full blown labor, but they may want to check you to make sure your water hasn't broken. Don't stress yourself this late in the game, and relax while you can!! Best of luck.
