Hunter hasbeen acting do defiantly. Hes not listening and hes doing as he pleases. And now he refuses to go to the bathroom to go in his potty chair. I dont know what else to do!! we have tried everything and nothing is working. I just want him to go back to telling me when heshungry instead of him all day just getting in the fridge and I want him to pick up his room again!!

He's probably just rebelling. Has anything changed recently? new home? new job for either parent? new baby? new animal? did you get rid of one of toys? any changes could cause a toddler to act out. Or maybe it's just a random phase. Give him time and try to gently remind him of how to do the things he's supposed to..

Have you tryed taking away things from him or maybe telling him no, spanking him, or sending him to his room?

As far as potty training, make him be in his underwear at home, then he has no choice but to go on the 'big boy chair'

I don't know what to tell you as I am going through the same thing with my 3 year old son lately. He is driving me crazy! Lol It's probably just a phase, which will hopefully pass soon. Good luck to you though!

Honestly, I just think it's the age. I don't have a 3 year old, but I worked with kids. The place I didn't like the most was with the preschoolers. They just wanted to test you everyday. They were always acting up and just trying to push to see how far they could go. I think it's just a phase, and he'll outgrow it. You just have to survive it. lol My favorite was with the toddlers. They were so fun to play with, said the craziest things, and still wanted to please you.

eta: My friend has a 3 year old and is going through behavioral issues too.
