Quick Question. Help please.

So, how many of you have been induced? Or know someone that has? Hubby could only get off work 2 weeks right after my due date. And i'd really hate if I went way late and he missed out on our baby first coming home. I asked the doctor about inducing me he said it would run the risk of me having to have a csection? I never knew that would evenbe a problem with being induced. And I reeaaallllly do not want a csection. =/

I was induced at 41 weeks... almost had to have a c-section, but ONLY because he was a 10lb monster with a big head and didn't want to come out LMAO

i was induced and didnt even come close to having a c-section. In face my labor went really fast only 9 hours( i was only 2 cm dialed sp)and i only pushed for 30mintues.

I was induced at 42 weeks. I didnt have c-section either.

I was induced twice- once at almost 41 weeks and once at 39 weeks and the only reason my first was close was because the cord was around his neck. Purely a coincidence, though.

being induced raises your risk of a c/s by 30% -----that's a ton. I feel bad for your situation, but honestly It's nice to hear that you have a dr whose actually looking out for you rather then himself. Ask your dr how long he'll let you go past your due date before inducing... that'll give you a better idea of how it will fit in with hubby being home.

I was induced at 42wks, with my second child, nothing was mention to me about having a c-section, plus it was an easy birth once i was induced..

I was induced with both of my girls, luckily no c/s. The first labor was horrible, almost 24 hours; but the second time was quick and easy. My doctor seems to be a fan of induction so I'm thinking I'll probably have it done this time too.

i have been induced 5 times i have 6 children an i never had a problem, my labors went great. my dr's would tell me the same about the riskd but i guess i begged so much it always worked   i have been induced between 36-38 weeks an all was well. good luck with your baby an your labor an delivery

i was induced at 38wks. my labor took 24hrs. i got an epidural so i didnt have alot of pain. my doctor had to break my water tho. i only pushed for 20 mins. soid say it went great!
