irregular contractions....

I'm 35 weeks and am having contractions. They are strong enough to feel in my back but they don't hurt that bad. They are varying from 5-9 minutes apart. I also have increased discharge that is clear. My bladder feels full but I can't go. Any suggestions on what I should do?

That actually sounds like you may have a uti...have you been checked for that?

CAll your doc... even if it isnt labor, weird contractions can be a signmof an infection...

no I haven't but my urine isn't cloudy or dark. It's pretty clear. I feel nausaus (sp) too.

To be honest if I was you I would call L& D and ask what they think cuz if nothing else it sounds like you need peace of mind...but something doesn't sound quite right if you ask me.

It sounds a lot like the contractions I have been having since my baby dropped. My doctor wasn't too concerned about it. I would bring it up at the next appointment anyhow, they like to know when you start contracting. I am assuming, however, that you do mean they get going for a while and then stop. If they never stop, then I would make a call today.
