how soon can I get prgnt

ok I gave birth to Carter 06-07-08 and I have my 6 week apt next week but had sex before the apt and once was unprotected...i was just wondering the stats of possibly getting pregnant again?? I know it's possible but I don't know how likely it is to happen??

has this happened to anyone etc.

it happens to a lot of people. you are extremely fertile right after you give birth.

your extremely fertile after birth.

I don't know how likely it is...but you're most fertile after you give birth...so I bet there's a really good chance...

I did the same thing... i didnt wait.. and didnt use a condem...and its soooo sooo easy to get pregnant! as soon as my apt hit i told my doctor and she gave me a preg test... i passed it! Thank God!!! Now i gota wait till the end of this month to get on birthcontrol!

Do you want to get pregnant again? And if so your chances are pretty high your very very fetile after you give birth

You should certinly ask them to. Tell them that you had sex before 6 weeks PP and would like a pregnancy test done to see if you're pregnant again.

I would say talk to your doctor and schedule a appt to be tested to see if you are

If you breastfeeding, its less likely to happen, but possible.

will do...and it's not like we are trying again ...but it wouldn't be a bad thing if we did get pregnant...ideally I would like to wait a few more months...and we usually used condoms but the one night we went to a resort on the beach...we forgot to bring them and ya know the rest....so I was wondering....I would know the date conception...how long would I have to wait to test..it would be almost 2 weeks ago

Just an off topic question for u. Did u have him Vaginally or by C-section? And how long did u wait before having sex?

I only ask b/c I am almost 3 weeks PP and I am about to die if I don't jump back in the sack. I also had a C-section.

We had an excited "mishap" at 4 weeks pp and I went for the morn after pill. Dr said chance was 5%.
But I guess eveyone is different....
I was willing to take the chance, it would make me own up to my irresponsible actions but it was a heated moment laps in concentration after a long wait....no excuse I know, but I know my body would not have handled another pregnancy so soon...

I'm not breastfeeding....I tried and had no supply I would pump also and would get less then 1/3 an ounce combined... :-( so I haven't pumped for fed for about 3 weeks

I had him vaginally and I waited til 3 weeks pp when I stopped bleeding
