I understand that many women can get in tune with their body and mind and go into their own zone when they are having bad contractions and to the point of almost being fully dialated but at the point of pushing that baby outta you, I'm sure that every women doing it naturally is screaming their head off in pain.

My mom had 5 babies naturally and I just recently watched a video of her giving birth to my youngest sister, the last of 5 and believe me, you would have thought it was her first all over again. She was screaming and crying to my dad that she couldn't do it. She even told the doctor to shut up after he kept repeating her name. I don't think anything can completely take away that pain no matter how focused you are.

Same. as soon as her head was out I was having the best high of my life! I have never done a drug that had given such an intense high. I was ready to jump out of bed and take the baby home lol.

hahah.

My mom was telling me her labor story when she had my older brother. I guess this lady kept calling their room wihle my mom was having reaaally bad contractions and my dad was telling her that she had the wrong room number. And she called back like 5 times so my dad was being all nice and trying to figure it out for her and my mom was like "Get off the phone" and he was like "okay just a second" "get off the phone" and he just kept talking "HANG UP THE FUCKING PHONE". lmao. He put it down without saying goodbye or anything lmao.

I threatened (and I believe I even tried), to kick my doc in the nuts. He kept telling me to quit screaming and push. Cause apparently if you're screaming you're not pushing.  . Anyway, I figured I'd kick him and tell him not to scream.

Lol Honestly my contractions were not that bad. I had some where I just freaked and started to cry andscream but when I put my mind to it and just really got insync(sp?) with my body I was able to control the pain and just relax my way through them.

But until you have given birth I dont think you have any idea how hard you have to push and how painful it is crowning. I am sure you cant wait to talk to her after she has her baby lol.

I went really quickly, but I know that if I would have calmed down, and breathed more, it wouldn't have hurt as bad. I think the most pain I've ever experienced was from childbirth, but, the pushing/descending into the canal was nothing as compared to the last few contractions I had. I'm not trying to say it is painless (I'm not sure if I said that, and I am too lazy to look, haha), but I know that if I would have gone a bit slower, and relaxed more, I would have been fine. I was also tired as hell, I hadn't slept in 24 hours, due to my inability to sleep being nearly 42 weeks prego, so I think that had a large part to do with it, and I wasn't able to concentrate very well.
