is this bad? (about swelling)

I've never had to deal with my feet swelling with any of my other pregnancies so I have no clue if this is normal or not. Is it normal to see your feet completely doubling in size? I can feel them tingling and I see them getting bigger, and they're turning purplish. is that something to worry about or should I just keep my feet up?

Def bring it up to your doctor at your next appt!!

If their really doubling in size I would deff keep an eye on it. I know that it is common. My step sisters feet did the same thing. My advice would just be to keep them elevated as much as possible. Hopefully that will help them go down. My fingers are swollen that I can't even wear my wedding ring

it is normal but to a certain extent....the turning purple idk... i swell pretty bad and never turned purple. bring up to the doc to be safe...manwhile try relaxing and elevating your feet

Mine seem to stay swollen but they deffinately don't double in size. Just enough to where is makes them a little tight feeling.

I don't think it's good that they are turning purple. The swelling is probably normal but purple?! Elevate your feet above your heart honey. You gotta take it easy. Lay off the salt. DRINK LOTS OF WATER

Mine are like that too. They turn purple when I stand in the same place for too long like washing dishes or showering.. Its because the blood is havin trouble circulating back upis what my dr. told me and you just need to get off them and try not to stand in the same spot for too long.

The same thing happened to me about a week before I delivered. They got huge in a matter of hours. I freaked and went to the hospital...I was fine!

feet up is the way to go !! -- i have had it pretty bad too .. the due dates are getting closer & so my feet just keep getting bigger -- are you eating alot of sweets though cause my doctor says that it isnt diabetes but the suger isnt helping & when i stopped eating so much sugary stuff the swelling semi stopped i mean its just normal to get during pregnancy but it might contribute to it <3
