DID IT BREAK...

I woke up thinking i was peeing on my self rushed to the bathroom and peed...not like alot just a small bit and i had aspot on my shorts and panties....IDK if my water broke i have no pains or what not ... 15 minutes later i went to pee again and had to push my pee out this time...i really dont know how to explain it... my hubby is ready to go to L&D ...

as i was writing this i felt sligh little pains nothing big...ive had worse pains before...ahhh please help give me some advise...

oh and i googled HOW DO I KNOW MY WATER HAS BROKEN...
well it said to smell it ..if it smells like bleech or cleaner its a sign well i know tmi but i smelled and it def did not smeel like pee to me but it could be my mind playing tricks on me...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH yay we can have our babies at the same time!!!

i thought i peed myself too like it was just leaking out and i had no control... it kept coming out tho, thats how i knew. and it does have a distinct smell to it that youll notice after awhile

If it is broken the baby's head can act as a plug keeping the water in. Try laying down for a few minutes and see if anything happens when you get up.

if it was your water there would be a lot & it would not stop. When mine broke I was in bed & when I got up it gushed onto the floor & would not stop for a good 2 hours. It just wasn't a massive amount after the first 30 mins just whenever I sat down & got up more would come out. You can call your obgyn & they will take this strip & insert it into your vagina to see if it actually broke. Mine started leaking 3 weeks before I had my daughter but it wasn't enough for them to induce my labor though & it wasn't enough for me to notice anything though.

the lady in my birth class said that if you think your water may have broken to stand up and cough, if you get a gush of fluid then you probably did. She also said that it kinda smells like crayons (I dont know about that, I thought it was a little wierd) but when in doubt get it checked out....better safe than sorry

when my water broke in the hospital they had just put a catheder in me and I told them I had to pee and they were like no way and I was like im serious and it was my water breaking but before I went into the hospital I was leaking alot so if your undies ar elike soaked call L&D

i think i might go in to l&d just to see...i guess even if i look like an ass..

Well I can't tell you naturally how it feels or smells because the doc broke my water in the hospital. But I can tell you this much... it def feels like you peed all over yourself and I soaked the bed. I agree with Ms Bang better to be safe then sorry. And on top of that once those labor contractions come on they come come on pretty strong. The contractions I had were mild up until they broke my water. Then it was holy f'in shit contractions. The worse pain I've ever felt in my life. Hubby n I agreed to no epidural and I was beggin for one once the real strong contractions started. Didn't end up getting it tho because once I started beggin for it it was already too late. I suggest you go.

i didnt soake the bed just my panties and shorts had a spot in them i got up and ran to the rest room because i felt it coming out it woke me up i wasnt pushing it out or nothing like that...

I would go to L&D. Mine started out slow and never really gushed out. I was in the hospital elevator when it broke and it just somewhat soaked the pantyliner I had on. Then when I was in the room, they had me change and I was basically dripping the whole time....it never really came out all at once though. It seemed to do that non stop dripping for quite awhile though.

Same happened to me. For some reason I woke up because I thought my undies were kinda wet and I went to the restroom and my underwear were tinged with blood and they were a little soaked. So I got dressed really quick and left to the hospital.

am going to take a shower my normal routine...and then go to L&D..i wanna be nice and clean for them...

but ladies arent you supposed to loose your mucus(SP) plug first ...i dont think that has happend to me yet..

I never lost mine but my water still broke some people lose them & some don't.
