Hcg levels

Ok, so I had a bt done 2 days ago to check my HCG levels. Apparently from when I conceived I am around 7 weeks 4 days. My beta results came back as 7,200. My dr checked his charts and said I was about 10 weeks from that level.

I came home and started looking it up on the net and found that 7,200 is low for even 7 weeks.

Does anybody think that level is low also???

with this baby we checked mine at 6 weeks and they were 14,000, although from what I hear, the important thing is not the level itself but the rate at which it increases. I've heard of plenty of low low HCG levels developing into healthy babies....the indication of something wrong is usually that the numbers drop or dont increase like they should. In that case, usually a miscarriage occurs. So I wouldnt worry unless your numbers are not increasing like they should.

I went back to the doctors today, I made the mistake...my levels were at 72,000 not 7,200. So thats why he said I was around 10weeks, I have an ultrasound appt tmrw for a dating scan. OMG! im so excited I cant wait!
