Peeing in the pool? LOL

Okay, I know there are deeper topics to discuss, but I wanted to see what you all thought...

We live near the pool in our apt complex, and there was a mom with her 4/5 year old daughter there... Her daughter jumps out of the pool, and I hear the mom say "just get back in and pee in the pool - you can pee in the pool, it's okay".

I was like "WTF??!!??" I mean, don't get me wrong I know kids are GONNA pee in the pool and it just happens, but would you tell your kid to do it? Would you have said something to the mom if you heard what I heard?

Lol I donno I think most of us are guilty of peeing in the pool a few times... I'd zip it out of a guilty conscience lmao!! I just never drink the water. EW. Haha.

lmao... I would never tell my child to pee in a pool!! I am not going to teach my child to go to the bathroom anywhere besides a toilet!

Wowww. That's kind of really funny and I would have just been shocked. I wouldn't have said anything to the mother but I definitely wouldn't tell my child to justpee in the pool. That could teach them that "it's okay" to pee in the bathtub, why not, right? Mommy let me pee in the pool! Haha!

Believe me, I've tried to pee in a pool...but I just cant make myself. Stage fright maybe? I dunno. But my husband builds and maintains pools and he says he never leaves a pool without peeing in it first.

Thats disgusting. People need to be taught to get the fuck out and go to the bathroom. Of course as kids we may have been guilty of peeing in the pool but a parent shouldnt be telling them to do it. Chances are the chlorine will kill it before it can even get to anybody else but its still disgusting. they should use that dye that turns colors when it detects urine and kick out any disgusting kid thats pissing in the pool.

You would be surprised how many like teenagers pee in the pool. Not saying she should have told her kid to pee in the pool cause then they think its okay to pee anywhere. hahaha but luckily the chlorine kills the pee within a matter of seconds.. i only know this cause i was a lifeguard last year at the poool and ill admit im guilty of peeing in the pool but cause if you saw our bathrooms you would wanna pee in the pool too . hahahaha

This little girl that used to live across the street from me had this nanny...whenever she would have the girl outside and she had to go to the bathroom she would pull her pants down and stand her over a storm grate, and just let her pee in the storm grate...like wtf? are you too lazy to walk up the street and let her pee in the freakin' toilet?
As for the pool thing...that's just gross...I'm sure there is enough chemicals and stuff that it shouldn't matter (plus from what I understand pee is sterile), but still...it's the freakin' principal of it.

I agree!! But, if it makes you feel any better...I worked at a pool and they have pretty good filters and stuff if taken care of properly. Just worry when they shit in there!!  

No, I wouldn't tell my children to do it. I wouldn't confront the other mother about it, personally, but I might talk to the manager of the complex about it.
