I still live with my parents, but I'm not working.

If you're going to stay with the parents make sure you have a job. It's not just so you can mooch off the parents, it's so you can save the money you'll need when you're on your own.

I couldn't get my honey to move in with me. It's making it so much harder to move out and get our own place because we have no savings.

Just stay home as longa s you can and save save save.

Understandable. But, by telling people not to come in and cause trouble before anyone does it, it gets some people's backs up and causes them to come in and cause trouble where they might not have if you hadn't said anything...

I'm a teen mom & I've never been bashed for being a teen mom...because I'm not an idiot.

I'm 18 with two boys; 20 months and 3 weeks old. Me and my fiance have been buying/living in our own home for almost a year now (It'll be a year in October.)

Ya thats totally true. Well me and my bf have been saving for our own place for awhile now It's just I'm not sure about things anymore..I think I may wait a little longer to move in with him now..

We understand, but the "ignorant" comment was not necessary.

Most of the members on baby-gaga are great women, who really have alot of advice to offer. , I've learned alot about them & from them. These women are like family to me. I'm closer to some of them than to my RL friends.

When I found out I was pregnant, I was 18 and living with my mom while he was living with his parents. About halfway through the pregnancy, I basically moved into his parents' house.. and by that, I mean I would stay the night for nearly a week before going back to my mom's for like, a day.

And once we got the basement remodeled, I officially moved in sometime in April, and now I'm 19 and living at his parents'. We could probably be approved for a Section 8 appt, but we'd rather save up money and see where we are financially in about a year, because we'd both rather buy a house than rent.

i see we have a noob on the hands of out bg people. haha
