I came across this the other day and I thought what a great idea......... It's meant for preemie babies when you" Mumma" Can't be there all the time like you would want to be.

All you do is sleep with it to transfer your scent onto it and then place it in with baby.

I can dig the idea. But someone might want to tell the Swedish Chef from the Muppets that his arms have been found.

Ahhhh! lol

The funniest part of the whole thing, is that we had a "bizarre baby items" thread and that was one of the things listed! Preemies are generally so used to laying alone, that I really don't see why it would be necessary. It might be a good idea though....for something...

Hmm, its really not that shocking at all. Any micro preemie mum will have probably checked to buy their baby clothes online (since the stores dont sell them small enough), and these are available on all the sites. Its agonizing having to leave your baby behind in NICU, so anything that comforts and supports them is great. its no big deal an i personally dont find it funny

It just doesn't seem practical to me. And c'mon, it looks quite hilarious! We slept with a blanket and then left it with both children while they were in NICU. I can't think of any reason why I'd want to wrap cloth hands around them instead. And as far as the picture that was posted with this thread, I don't see how it could be used like that in the NICU, the cots aren't big enough.
