TTC preparation

i just had a question for all the ladies that are trying to conceive again especially those that are trying after a miscarriage.
I recently had a miscarrige and D&C a couple of days ago. I have been reading and i see that some doctors put you on birth control to regulate your cycle and build back up the lining of your uterus better. I dont really get how that would work. i am not trying to conceive again right away because i want to be healthy and for my insides to be right when i do get pregnant again to have the best possbile chance but i am taking Multi vitamins and i heard you can take the prenatals still .
is any this good idea?

Sorry for your loss hun. Taking prenatals or a multi vitamin in general is a good thing to do.

Take prenatals and an extra folic acid. I bought some rasberry leaf tea which works to tone your uterus before delivery and in my researching of it I found that it's a good idea to drink while you are TTC because it thickens the lining of the uterus and makes it easier for the egg to implant or something. Good luck when you do decide to TTC again and I am sorry for your loss.

I had a miscarriage when I was about a month and a half but I didnt have to have a D&C mine passed naturally. The reason they put you on birth control is so that you wont get pregnant again for at least a couple of months to give your body time to heal. I didnt get put on it tho and I didnt take any vitamins and so far this pregnancy is going great and there have been no complications. The only time I got the birth control shot was when I had another cyst on my ovaries to help regulate it or something like that.

i ahd a d&c last year at 15 weeks my doctor recommended to just stay on my prenatal and wait til i haev 3 cycles to build up my lining before trying again.

Is it ok if i do the muti vitamins instead of the Prenatal or is it the same thing?

prenatals are more lined up with what ur body needs to have for baby so i would recommend that over reg multis.

Im Glad I Came Across This, I Just Had My Second Miscarriage On January 17th, Right Away My Doctor Recommended I Be Put On Birth Control and To Wait At Least The Minimum Of 6 Months, Its Been About 7 Now, and Me and My Husband are trying to Concieve again. Im Worried, Im not really taking anything But I Do Have A Bottle of Prenatal Reading all these posts, Have Encouraged Me To Start Taking Them ! =)
