labor??

So i was told yesterday at the doctors that she is 6lbs 4oz already and that if i went into labor it would be fine considering that she is pretty big but my question is are the pains that im having "down there" a sign of labor... i hurts when i walk and especially when i lay down and turn from side to side its almost impossible for my to turn over now because the pain hurts too much. It feels as if its getting worse and worse as the days go by. I was told she is head down but I dont know anybody else that has had these pains/....

I had that and it's just cause she is probably low in your pelvis. I started getting that at 28 weeks! It's NOT labor

I do not believe these are a sign of labor. I am having the same thing and I am a little ways behind you and do not expect to go into labor. I believe it is just the postioning of the baby and the pressures it is putting on your body.

It just sounds like end of pregnancy pains...don't worry, they'll end soon  ! The doctor said the baby would be fine at 34 weeks? Weight doesn't have a lot to do with lung development...then again, I'm not a doctor! I hope your little one sticks it out for a couple more weeks!

sounds like ligement & presure pain to me u'll know if its labor every thing tightens and cramps gl

Its not labor and thats a good thing! even if shes big that does not mean her lungs are developed enough to breathe on her own, you dont want t o have your baby at around 34 weeks
