I'd love to see/share projects that you are working on. It's about the only I can do now that I'm almost ready to pop, lol.

I love to crochet! I don't have any pictures of things I've done though. I was making a baby blanket for my daughter. The only problem is since she's been born I haven't worked on it. I like making blankets and doilies.

You should try the single crochet if you can do chains really well. It's not that much harder believe it or not..

Good "How- To" video

I love to crochet! I am obsessed with making fun hats

I think it is pretty easy to learn, but you really need someone to show you in person.

Edited to say: I've been working on baby hats lately. I did a few designs for Makai's mama to look at. I have some pics but I'd have to bring them up!

It's not hard! I think knitting is way harder.

What pattern did you use for the booties and hat? I can find any ones that don't end up making a hat that will fit a toddler. Any suggestions?

Yea knitting takes forever. I quit that the same week I started. Too impatient!

Wow... that really looks easy... I havent had a lot of time to crochet with two munchkins running around but my youngest is almost 2 and bout to start pre-pre-school, so i will have a bit of time on my hands before the new bub arrives!!

If I want to make sure it is sized perfectly then I start from the bottom and measure it. I usually just make them for my daughter's head, so I wrap it around her head to see if it will fit. Then I go up as tall as I want the hat, and start a pattern of skipping loops until it comes together. It always works great!

I also am pretty good at guessing when I go down from the top. I have made so many hats though that I just know how big it will be.

I've never used a pattern..I don't know how.
