Correct. But to be in the education field w/ political science you need a Ph.d. To teach you need a license...that's what I said already.

i never heard of needing a phd to teach politcal science... maybe college level but i had teachers in highschool with politcal science degrees who taught history classes and psych classes...

You can get a teaching license for any subject matter regardless of what your college degree is in. However, should the OP not want to spend 2 more years in college to be able to teach but still wanted to be in education (like curriculum design, admin, etc.) she needs a Ph.D. Did you read the link I provided??
