i dont have insurance and im not working. Im getting medical but because im under 21 and living with my parents its only for pregnancy and pregnancy related emergencies. I just broke part of my front tooth where it was crack already from biting my tongue ring. Now i look like i have a gap between my teeth ewww but more than that i have other things that need to be taken care of as well but cant afford to pay a dentist to do them so any advice ??? suggestions ??

That sucks. I always thought Medi Cal was medicaid, you should call and ask if it would cover it for you. Maybe she told you wrong

You could always apply for care credit.

my father works for the county (welfare dept) and my mom lost her job a year ago so she is on unemployment.

my case worker said i have to be under 21, unemployed, not married, still living with my parents, and still pregnant to get medi-cal and as soon as i turn 21 i have to apply for full medi-cal. What i have right now is a form of emergency coverage. its called "restricted medi-cal".

My parents both work for the state and I was only able to be on until I was 19, and beyond that I had to be in college full-time (until 24 yrs old) to be covered...

MediCal must be different. Im under 21 and have full pregnancy Medicaid. It covers basic dental for cleaning, fillings and such since cavities and such can cause preterm labor.
