re: The need for name brands.

Ehh. I got a purse from Walmart once and it fell apart in three days. I have gotten other name brand purses (not all as expensive as coach) and they last and last. Not to mention Coach and some others have a lifetime warrenty Target does not.

I have a few name brand things such as glasses and purses. I get them not really for the name brand but the style and quality. I prefer some of the name brand glasses because they seem to fit my big head better than other brands that make glasses smaller.

Ditto this. I have a purse (not nearly as expensive as Coach, under $100) that i use EVERY DAY, and it has lasted for about 3 years so far. It was worth the extra money for the time it has lasted. I dont by name brand things just to be cool though lol I only buy them if they are higher quality and something I will use for a long time.

I agree to an extent. I find some items that are name brand to be better made. However, I must admit that I doubt I have ever paid full price for anything that I have that is name brand and I never intend to. I love outlets and clearence racks

Actually, I work at a pharmicutical company, we had to clean up after making a cyto-toxic drub so that we could make an antibiotic type of drug. I am talking about this room needed to have no trace what so ever of anything when switching over. We found that the off brand cleaner worked much better than the name brand.

I do agree with the food. I tried Diet Dr. Thunder to save a couple of bucks and all I have to say is EWW! I however like the store brand cerals much better though.

Target makes AWESOME generic stuff if anyone wants to buy generic. ABout 90% of stuff I buy is generic target brand. Milk, water, cereal, mac and cheese, canned veggies, eggs, cheese, butter, chips ect ect. It ALL tastes good. Havent had a bad thing yet, and even my picky picky husband loves all of their stuff.

That is awesome! Every purse I have bought at Target or other discount store has not been that great. I refuse to spend $100 or up on a purse, but the one I have was $70 (fossil) and has held up AMAZINGLY, so it was worth it to me.

Yeah, I like the one I've got, but I'm not spending a shit ton of money on something that's just carrying a wallet, pen, and maybe some lip gloss, lol.

I think my Coach bag retailed at close to 300 I got it at a great sale at the outlet store and paid 120 for it. I love, love, love it! I still looks like new even after I have use it. I love the fact that it is stain resistant.

But not all walmart purses are like that. Do not get me wrong, I love Walmart I shop there at least once a week.

I tried their mac and chees and was not too fond of it. I do like their pasta though. I have also tried their frozen veggies and their snack foods. Not bad.

I was at a street fair and saw a cute cotton purse that I thought woudl be great for our vacation in Hawaii. It was litterly a peice of cotton fabric. They wanted $75 for. WHAT THE HELL?????
