So does not buying generic brand coffee count?? Cuz the only things I go "Name Brand" for is my coffee and my cleaners... I will only drink Folgers and I will NOT use cheap-o cleaners... I am just stuck up like that.

I feel like it's more comfy on Lily
I could be wrong.... but she can't tell me lol.
And she's so awesome, she doesn't complain when she's uncomfortable... so she could be sittin there, itching her ass off, and just looking around the room....

So I have to buy what I think is the most comfy for her hehe.

I usually just buy what I like. Most of my clothes come from New York and Co. except my jeans, which are usually Guess. To me, those are the jeans that fit me the best. However, I look for sales all the time and very rarely go to the Guess Store to buy them. I can afford to buy whatever I want, but only certain things that are named brand grab my attention.

My son has flat feet, so he needs good shoes. We do usually take him to Kids Footlocker for shoes that are usually Nike. And my son is hard on shoes, so we have to get him decent ones that will last. I tried getting him sneakers from Payless and other cheaper stores but I noticed they just don't last as long as the more expensive brands do. So to me, I feel like buying the more expensive brands for him gives him some sort of longevity in his shoes and therefore we are not buying shoes as often and therefore not wasting money.

Name brand diaper bags and named brand clothes for babies...I feel like that IS the biggest waste of money. They're just going to grow out of that shit in a few months anyways and spit up on it and all the stuff that babies do. It's pointless. I knew a girl who spent $50 on Baby Phat pacifiers because she thought "They were cute".

I love to shop just like most women do. And I do own a lot of clothing, shoes and purses. Some of those arename brand. some are not. I just tend to buy what I like but I do have a limit about how much I am going to spend on things. Even though I can afford to buy it. So I don't think there anything wrong with it if you can afford it, but I also think you have to sensible about it as well.

Oh and I found an online place called MetroStyle.com andI order from them a lot. They have THE BEST clearance items and ALWAYS email my coupons!

My husband hates any coffee but Folgers Classic Roast. He's a brand whore. We have to buy Tide laundry detergent, and he only buys Irish Spring Sport for soap. Oh and we can only get Aquafresh toothpaste. He's a hoot.

I buy name brand hair products and bath products for my baby.. and diapers. I also recently spent 150$ on a stroller and 100$ on a foodsaver.. Those were my last big purchases and they were both name brand

Clothing wise I like Target and Old Navy and I'll shop at Macy's when there's a sale because I save a crap ton of money with my CC. I can't remember the last time I paid full price for anything.. including baby items.

Folger's sucks lol...it's all about Starbucks lol...when I was training there I had to do a coffee tasting and my manager told me how Folgers/Maxwell whatever suck, and they're old and Starbucks is yummy and fresh! lol..

anyways, I do think most clothes that cost a little more are better quality and look better...I never buy any clothes from wal-mart because they're clothes are horrible to me lol. They're not really cute and they're cheaply made..BUT Target on the other hand is where I shop, and american eagle for jeans lol! Pretty cheap but I think I look kinda cute ha!

And I dunno why I do it, probably because my mom made me shop at wal-mart when I was younger but I like to splurge on Jake! I get most of his clothes from Old Navy or Target so they're pretty cheap, but he's had 2 pairs of pumas, a pair of Converse, and some Crocs...plus a few other airs of shoes from Target and Walmart lol!

I think when people buy anything really expensive, it is because of the label...not for everything, something are truly better and wrth buying the label, but for the most part, no lol

Quoting ~(Breanna)~:Coach shoes for 150 bucks... It's rediculous! I'm happy at payless. My kids will be too.   I have a ... [snip!] ... know how fast kids go through shoes... I would LOVE to hear from some women who feel the need/want to buy this stuff , though.”

I agree with that. I've seen some at Macy's that were super cute but when I turned them over and saw the price I was like yeah right. The only reason I even own anything Coach is because my mother bought me a purse back from her trip to New York.

And I love Payless. Can you say BOGO?! I always hit that up. And I also have shoes I found on Ebay. I love shoes, so most of the time if they're cute AND cheap, I get them, lol. I think the most expensive shoes I own are some Baby Phat sandals I got from shoes.com for $90. But my husband treatedme to them for Mother's Day last year. He saw them and thought I'd like them, which I did, and bought them.

I'm like that too.
Some brands, I boycott simply because they're ridiculously priced and don;t even look all that great.
