Too much sleep?

posted 10th Jul
My son is 3 months and 9 days and he sleeps from about 10pm till 8:30 am the next day. He's been doing so for the last 2 months. I've tried waking him to eat but he just falls asleep with the bottle in his mouth. And he naps about 2 times a day for maybe and hour to two hours each. I'm just wondering if this is normal because my daughters were nothing like this. I mean he seems too good to be true.

Holy crap! Don't wake him up if he's sleeping through the night! If he was hungry, he'd let you know. Sounds like you just have an awesome sleeper on your hands- be happy!

my daughter has always slept a lot, minus her 1st 2 months. at 3 months she started sleeping from 7pm to 7am and took 3 or 4 long naps during the day. she did that until she was almost 7 months old.

now she sleeps 14 hours at night and takes a good nap during the day and she is a year old. some babies just love their sleep!!

I know right. I'm not complaining. But you know how they say if something seems too good to be true then it probably is. But i just think that i have a wonderful son.

Hehe, I asked this same question when Lily was an infant...
I was told that it's normal, and to count my blessings...

It's normal
