Do some research on the 5 S's by Dr. Karp.  I've seen the man in action and it works.

Sounds like colic to me. You can try a nice warm bath, followed by a story. Mines only a month old almost and it works for her. Right to sleep every time. Don't forget to pass the baby off on the old man either. You need some time for you.

TRY the colic hold, hold her with her belly down like a football with your hand supporting her head.

sounds like colic to me too. thats hard. my son had bad colic.
best thing that helped us is to kinda bounce with him. put him (on his stomach) over your arm and kinda bounce around. or put him across your lap (on his stomach) and pat his back-not hard, but firmly, in an upward direction-it should help relieve the gas. also, turn him so hes on your lap on his back and kinda move his legs like a bicycle.
if he has colic, these should really help. there is also something called Gripe Water that can help too-you can get it at any drugstore/walmart.

Well, according to my baby book, colic is nothing but prolonged crying without a cause.....so what is colic to you?
