My new toy :)

I just got my new Ameda pump is it's sssoooo much better than my old one. I purchased a $50 Evenflo duel electric when she was born and the motor is not strong enough for what I need, so I sucked it up and got an Ameda Purely Yours...good stuff. I pumped 3 ounces over 30 minutes yesterday with the old pump and 7 ounces in 15 minutes with the new one...and that was after I fed her! I'm building my freezer supply for school, so I'm so excited that my new pump is working better!

Isn't being a mom funny? I don't think I would have ever thought I would get THIS excited about a breast pump...but I am  !

I totally hear ya. I love my ameda to bits and pieces. for that othe question I saw- I got mine online , it was a double electric and I paid just under 400$ to get it to Canada but seriously if you have to work and bf , nothing works better.

I went with a Medela with my first and that pump is awesome! I agree a good pump is worth the money. The motor won't wear out on you and it pumps the milk so quickly.

There's a cheaper option that's $150 for just the pump, but since I'm going to be pumping at school, the tote and cooler with extra bottles seemed worth the extra $30. It's good  !

I was down to the Ameda and the Medela and the Ameda suited my purposes better, but those are the two companies if you want a good pump! I've always read glowing reviews for both...I just wish I hadn't wasted my money on the first one!
