Quoting usagi:“ Good luck with the doggie Jessica. I have 4 dogs and we are puppy-sitting another for the next 3 weeks. So that's 5 dogs and a 5 month old baby waiting for me when I get home from work. ”
Quoting Jessica [Slvrmoon]:“ Oh geeze! He's really a good dog, I just hate this whole potty training thing....I just did it with my daughter!”LOL. Poor doggy, poor mommy.
Quoting Christina714:“ Your doing great, my daughter is a NICU graduate. she was fed every 3 hours at the hospital and when ... [snip!] ... milk for my little girl and hobbled my broken butt IV and all down the hospital to feed her. some people are just asses.”Well, it just got me upset that all I tried to do was reiterate what had been told to me by medical professionals and everything became a big misunderstanding and then they were making comments about things they knew nothing about, a big unnecessary drama, but its over. Didnt that suck having to go down there when you are feeling like a truck ran over you? I felt like my abdomen was about to explode (I had 2 surgical sites) but I couldnt wait to go see her. Im sure thats how all NICU moms feel. How old is your little one now?
Quoting ~*~Tasia~*~:“ Okay you guys, answer me this: when your kids were in the NICU, how often were they being fed? About ... [snip!] ... So anyway, just so I know what I was saying was right, please let me know how often your little ones were fed in the NICU.”
Quoting kelleycometrue:“ Mine was getting fed every 3 hours. Now she gets fed 3 mls every hour because it helps her tummy tolerate it better.”
Quoting Jessica [Slvrmoon]:“ Congrats on your baby girl! My daughter was also a 28 weeker. Did she have IUGR or anything?”
Quoting kelleycometrue:“ Im still new to the nicu lingo lol. I shouldnt be but i have the nurses and doctors explain everything to me in detail. ”
Quoting Jessica [Slvrmoon]:“ It stands for intrauterine growth restriction. I was asking because your daughter is pretty small for a 28 weeker, I was just wondering if there was anything besides your pre-e going on?”
Quoting Jessica [Slvrmoon]:“ It stands for intrauterine growth restriction. I was asking because your daughter is pretty small for a 28 weeker, I was just wondering if there was anything besides your pre-e going on?”Sometimes the pre-eclampsia can lead to IUGR. Thats what I was told. Thats why they put me off work back in January cause my OB said it could affect her growth.
Quoting kelleycometrue:“ Not really. They told me that madison was a good size. Not to big or too small. Now she weights 3 pounds 2 oz.And is doing great besides the fact that she has a bit of digestive probelms.”Wow, thats good for starting out so little.
