Is 5 kids too many?

I have currently 4 beautiful kids, 3 boys and1 girl. My DH and I had always planned on having 4 kids but now that my youngest bub is 10 months old, I am really wanting to have another. I know that finacially we are very comfy, Have our own home, 2 cars, a boat (boys and their toys.lol), kids have everything that they needand that is on a single wage. My hubby says that he would love to BUT he said that he doesn't know what the future holds and is worried that something would happen money wise and go broke. So the answer is no. BUT I cant stop thinking about it! I adore my 4 kids now, YES they do my head in but I love them to death.
So to those ladies out there that could be bothered to read this whining, Do you think 5 kids is too many???

I am going to have 4 kids and when my youngest is about 10 I went to have a number 5..... I don't see a problem with 5 kids...especially if you have the money to do it and the time and patience...

If you can afford it why not? besides if you feel like you want to take care of another one go for it....

I have four other siblings, with me its 5 total, and we had alot of fun growing up...

I think if you are financially capable than why not??

My Husband is a child of 5.
I plan on having 3.. and who knows.. if we are financially stabe maybe 4.. maybe 5

I personally, would never have 5 children.. If you can afford it and want it, then hey.. more power to you.. But I really think it's just that my baby is almost 1 phase.. it might pass

5 is too many for me (I hadn't even bargained on three!)but might be the magic number for you. Maybe it's too soon to tell since you have a fairly new addition to the family. Once your youngest is a bit older, maybe you'll be more certain of your financial future and a fifth will make perfect sense.

My brother and his wife have 5 kids, what an amazing family, but for me I think the 3 that I have is enough. As long as you're comfy with it, I would say why not!

No, my mom was 1 of 5.
Would have been 1 of 6 but the oldest died in a car accident when the second was a baby.

if you can handle five kids i dont think its too many. maybe your hubby is just thinking about the economy and just wants to make sure everything he already has is secure. maybe you can wait a few years and he will change his mind.

Nope....it's how many I want   (Not anymore anytime soon though!) My grandma had 5 kids and my mom had 5 kids too. I love big families. I think the bigger they are, the closer they are. I'm super close with my parents and my sisters and brother! I love being part of a big family

I think as many kids as a family wants is right for their family. I have 2 kids right now and i have baby fever sooo bad, after the next one i would love to have another one or just get the best of both worlds and have a set of twins! I'm sorry you and yoru DH aren't going to have anymore, is that set in stone or is it just what you think? I hope you feel better soon!

I say now you should opt for adoption, but that is JMO!!

OMG LOL I have four they range from 4 and younger the youngest is 6 wks. I dont know if I could handle 5. My mom had 5 she went psyhco! I dunno

Well he was supposed to go and get a vasectomy when Ashton was born. Well Ashton is now 10 months old and he still hasn't got the snip done yet.
