Thank you ladies, hearing those positive stories made me feel much better! They said they caught it very early. She had a very tiny amount of blood in her stool. They imediatly took her off feedings, started antibiotics. So far she has had 2 bowel movements and no blood. She looks good, so I am hoping we have the same great outcome you ladies did!

Hello, it has been a while since I updated. Shelby is doing ok. The NEC cleared up. But she was up to 52ml partially through bottle rest through ng tube. Then she started throwing up alot. She has reflux, they tried rice cereal but she was still throwing up so they are putting her on Prevacid. But once she is eating it all on her own and gaining weight she can go home. She is currently below the 10th percentile. She should weigh 8lbs but is just over 6. Poor girl!
