This is my first... I just really hope that I am one of those cases where the high level of fluid isn't caused by anything. I don't want anything to be wrong with him!

Quoting tigerlily:“ Hey, we all have the same due date!   It would seem that having a little extra amniotic fluid would be better than not having enough.”

Yay! Yeah the sonographer told me that having extra fluid is definitely better than too little fluid. She said he's got an extra big swimming pool... which is why he flipped over and is now breech!!!

I am 38.2 weeks and i am getting induced in a couple of days because i am also at the high end.. I wouldnt worry to much about it i have been on the high end since 33 weeks and they are just now deciding that it could be causing my contractions which i have had since 33 weeks.. I think it just makes you stretch a bit more then normal and if it causes you problems then induction can be looked at.. I know that i have been in pain for awhile now and the best thing for me is induction so i am so excited.. On the plus my boy is allready around 7 lbs 8 ounces so that has to be a good thing.. as well as growing at a normal rate.. lungs are good to go and motor functions are deffinitley there.. I had an ultrasound today and the whole time my little man was chewing and sucking.. so we know that his sucking reflexes will be a-ok when he gets here.. Good luck to you and try not to stress yourself out im sure if there was anything to really worry about your doc would tell you..
