Mmm I don't know. I've struggled with an ED for a long time so if anything I usually can stand to gain a few. I can't let my body be big, I don't know why. I'm scared that after my c section I'll be tempted to get thin in an unhealthy manner and fuck up my BFing or something. I've only gained 17lbs though and over the past 4-5wks I haven't gained at all so I'm hoping over these last few weeks I won't get over a total 20lb gain and it will be easy to drop.

Hm. The last place I interviewed asked if I have any health conditions that would affect me in the job - if I could lift up to 40 pounds, if I could stand for up to 10 hours a day, and if I anticipated any sick days.

..so I told them. Of course, didn't get it. :/

I dunno.. I think it would just be weird - "Surprise! I'm pregnant! ..um, like, 20 weeks.. yeah.. I, uh.. didn't know.."

So play dumb. A lot of women don't realize they are pregnant until later on.

My pregosaurus hormones already lash out at him daily.
I'm going to say, "Would you rather me go to the gym today, or have sex?"

..that should hopefully get him to shut his stupid mouth.

You don't have you play stupid. You just don't have to tell them until you want to. Say you need some time off for a doctors appointment and they ask what it's for then you tell them. They can't not hire you just because your pregnant. It's very, very illegal.

I was actually hired at my current job when I was 20 weeks. They didn't even know. Then my manager saw my belly a few weeks later and asked if I was expecting. She is really nice about it.
You still early in your pregnancy, so people won't notice. Don't even tell them.

I can lose all the pregnancy weight no biggy. The problem is I lose it fast then RIGHT before I hit my goal weight it stops. I have always been just slightly bigger then I wanted. 5 pounds is literally all I want lower. I think if I went any lower I would start looking sickly. My only eating problem is "forgetting" to eat. I get so caught up in making the kids food and errands and housework that I dont have time to think about food. Also if I am not actually hungry when I eat then I get sick to my stomach and I am lucky if I can keep any of it down.

True. But from what I'm experiencing, places would rather hire a manager with less experience than I have, then one who is going to do a better job for four months, and then have to leave and have to find a replacement. So I am definitely the best candidate for the position, however I can understand that they are looking to invest in an employee that would be hired for the long-term, and not have to leave the company in four months. I know by law they cannot be biased toward hiring a pregnant woman, but I also know that because of this reason, less experienced candidates are deemed more desirable in the long-term. (which is how they get around the legal portion of it.)
The jobs that would relatively pay my bills are high demand management positions, where there are 140 applicants to one opening. The last place I interviewed for told me basically I had the job - then HR called me and asked me about the health questions, where I told them I was pregnant. I got an email the next day saying they went with someone else. *sigh*

It's still a job for four months. That's still another job on your resume. And you leaving for maternity leave no matter how long you've been tehre, they can not fire you for. That's against the law too. There's a Family Medical Leave Plan and you're allowed to take off work.

He's lucky to be getting sex! Most women don't even feel up to that in the first few months!

Suck it up and stop whining. Go work at burger king. Gah...

Heh...just kidding. I'm sorry about your hubby and the job thing. I didn't have enough energy to go back to the gym until about 20 weeks. Now i'm 27 weeks and i'm too tired again
Just tell him to shut his mouth and bring you some cheez its... (that's my current craving)

Yeah but they always come up with other reasons as for why you are "not qualified"

Unfortunately, in California you're only covered under FMLA if you've been employed with the company for at least a year. This goes the same way for maternity leave. They don't have to pay you for it if you haven't been there a year, and don't have to guarantee your position upon return. It's so frustrating - I was with my former employer for over five years.

ROFL. I may have to resort to the BK Lounge (Burger King.. hehe).. actually, I don't even think that would cover my car payment. *dies*

My next step is appealing for unemployment - because it's seriously ridiculous that they denied me after approving me already. Psht, they probably just didn't want to have to pay me $900 a week.

Hehe I love me some Dane Cook.   Yummy

Why did you get denied for unemployment anyway? That's retarded.
