Mirena IUC ( or IUD )

I use mirena since my baby boy is 1 month old...he's 14 months now and i've irregular period for a whole year, my doctor says it's normal because some women stop having period at all while using mirena. Believe it or not having period that long is disturbing our sex life, we couldn't have great sex because my husband feel the mirena string and he said it's so uncomfortable. Is anybody have the same experience? I will have the IUC removed next month becuse to much hassle! 
I like the idea that i dont have to take birth control everyday..that's why i choose mirena but i dont know that my body didn't like it!

Why can't you just ask the Dr. to cut the string shorter?

What funny is my husband feel different everytime we had sex..sometime hurts so bad and sometime he didn't feel anything! Mirena also give me more period cramp although i didn't get my period but I still feel the pain.

Exactly. He shouldnt really feel it like that so it probably needs to be shortened.

have you had it checked to make sure its still in the right place? Cause it can get into the wrong place and cause problems. I would have it checked

I had mine for 14 months. At first my husband said that he could feel it, but then he couldnt anymore. I can see how having your period would interrupt your sex life, but before you make a decision to have it removed, I would sit down and talk to your doctor. I know that its fairly easy to have the strings clipped. I hope all works out for you....
