my beautician waxes me (the full monty!!!) every six weeks. as long as the therapist is someone you feel comfortable with - and it's actually not too bad if your therapist knows what she's doing! after the initial shock the sting lasts about 10 seconds. and it feels wayyyy smoother than shaving, and your husband/boyfriend will definitely notice the difference - no stubble! mine loves it & couldn't keep his hand away haha!

Well, I tried so hard not to slap her that I walked to my car and balled my head off. LoL

Funny! How much does it cost every six weeks? I don't know that I could bare my goods to any more strangers this year!

I just do it blindly. Sometimes I end up missing patches...but at least it shows effort. Be careful not to cut your fingers since you can't see the razor! lol

Early on in my pregnancy I would read on here that women would let their husbands shave them down there.. I just always thought to myself, "Never! I would never do that."

Yeah, well.. desperate times call for desperate measures. I, too, have my husband shave me.

Wouldn't it be nice if you OB's office offered waxing as a service? I mean, you're already there with all your goodies on display. Might as well knock out 2 birds.

OP- i got a lil mirror and have it in there...i do it in the bath so it doesnt fog up..then to get under i lay on my back lol. its working out pretty good for now. =]]

i live in south africa so the price probably can't compare to the states... i pay about $25 equivalent for full monty - full legs, under arm and hollywood! the beautician i've know for years she's been my friend for about as long!

haha not that bad lol  .... i use aloe vera essence ampule dailywhich prevents ingrown hair and retards the hair growth  - the new growth starts to come out after about three weeks. but they're pretty fine and soft, not like the shaving stubble at all! (i used to shave but when the stubble starts to come out it used to drive me mad... so itchy!)

I use my hubby's electric razor and a mirror.

He laughs at me.
