Actually because he is in the army, she could be in BIG trouble for doing this. I know a girl who is in this position and she moved across the country and ended up pregnant. If her husband wanted to she could be charged with adultry.
I also have a friend (girl) who got pregnant in the navy who was married to a friend of ours to keep him in the states but was sleeping with someone else they almost kicked her out because of it. She luckily got divorced right away and married the child's father so she didn't get in too much trouble.

Scamming the army is a big no no.

True. Most military wives live in military housing on the husbands base.

Being an active duty Marine Corps wife, I find this disgusting and if I knew who they were I'd report them. I'm sorry but shit like this really gets my blood boiling. The Military is soooo under paid as it is and for some lazy ass to get married "just for the benefiting" and taking money from my family and the others that have the balls to put their life on the line is just wrong.  

ifshe doesnt put her husbands name on it she willnot be covered under tricare ( his insurance) i have known ppl to do that and adultry is frowned upon big time in the military doesnt matter if it was a "contract marriage" or not

*** tell her THIS: when she is ready to do the birth cert, do NOT state that she is married!!! When I was originally filling out for my baby's birth cert, I mentioned that I was still married (to another man that i've been separated from for over 2-1/2 years) and they said I would have to go through legal crap and go to court in order to put the real dads name on the birth cert... so I just asked the lady filling out the paperwork (2nd time around) if I could just not mention that I'm married. So, that is what I did and we didnt have a problem after that.
