fact plus & evaporation lines

Hi there, my name is Isabella and I'm new. I found this website through my friend's ticker, andI have a question so I'm hoping you guys can help. My boyfriend and I had an oops about two weeks ago and since then I've just been feeling off... My boobs have gone up a cup size, my nipples are KILLING me and I've been exhausted - I've beenfalling asleep as soon as I get home from work. I guess it could all be in my head but I decided to buy a test last night. It's a fact plus and I took it this morning, it was negative so I got in the shower. When I came out, there was a very faint line! I went on google to see what I could find out and apparently it could be an evaporation line? I couldn't find any more information with that... So has anyone experienced evaporation lines with this test? Is this common?? Thanks for your help!

After ten minutes, the test isn't really accurate. So if it was negivite before the ten minute mark, it's a negative.

After ten minutes, the dye in the stick can bleed causing an evap line.

Fact plus is a blue dye test right? If so I NEVER use them because they like to give evaps. If it showed up after the time limit, then I would assume it was -. If you are late, then retest in a day or two, if your not late then wait to see if you AF comes.

A pregnancy test is only good for 10 minutes after you take it.

try a digital test!

You sound pregnant to me. Try again in a couple days. I've heard of evap lines, but have NEVER experienced one. And I took A LOT of pregnancy tests last year. I would look hours later and still have a negative, sometimes even the next day.

Yes it's a blue dye test, and it was longer than 10 minutes. I wasn't sure what to think or if I should try a different brand. If my period doesn't show up I guess I will test again, I can't stand not knowing!Which brands seem to be the best to use?

test again in a couple days and try using First Response or a digital test.

The best one - scientifically proven to give accurate results is First Response - the early detection one. I took two of those - they came back positive but the first Clearblue Digital did not come back positive that day. That test totally put a damper on things! I took the other Clearblue Digital the next day and it came back positive within 20 seconds!

So stick with First Response - it'll give you the most accurate results early on.

Haha, ok will do. I'm thinking it might be an evap line but I'm pretty sure I'm preggo... Things just don't feel right! I mean there havebeen months that I thought I was preggo and I think I imagined symptoms but this month I'm definitely not imagining them! My boyfriend is loving the new cleavage lol and I started getting heartburn -- after eating watermelon!?

it does sound like you are pregnant just get a clearblue digital i would wait a few days though i have used fact plus and it has always been great for me last pregnancy it showed me at a little over 3 weeks so keep us posted we want to know lots of baby dust
