What about fathers of babies that left at the beginning and

I got pregnant when i was 19 by a guy that i had been dating for 2 years,and he leaves now a year later he wants a dna test and wants visitation with MY son! I just think it is really unfair bc i am the one who has feed him, bathed him, clthed him, diapered him, taught him to talk, taught him to walk, and took him to doctor visits, and has kept him safe.....ITs not fair at all that someone who chose not to be there in the beginning can just one day say hey i want visitation...................HELP

i told my boyfriend from the start that if he wasnt there in the begining he never would be....simple as that

i would talk to a lawyer... tell them that he left you and that you don't think its right that he gets visitation, if he has never paid child support then you could fight that he never see's him if htats what you really want

the fact that he left and didn't do anything will help you... not him... good luck...

hey... you could get a lot of money tho... cuz he will have to pay back all the child support he has missed..plus keep paying!!... So if you really dont want him around give him that little piece of info.. might change his mind..

It is now your baby and your alone. To hell with him. Life is not that easy. Tell him go visit the zoo if he feels the need to visit somewhere. And keep paying so you would get it back.

It took him 9 months to realize that - oh wait, that's my baby, maybe I shouldtake care of him- will show the courts alot about his character.

yup and they are going to make him PAY for the child and he probably wont get anything right away anyways... once he goes through all of this he's going to wish he didn't.

My baby's father and I had been together for almost a year, she was unplanned.

We broke up the day he found out I was pregnant. Now that she's 6 months old, he may start visiting.

It's complicated. I'm not sure how to feel about it. I think I came to the decision that even though I was the one to clothe, shelter and take care of my daughter, I have no right to keep her from her father. If, when she is old enough, she decides she doesn't want to see him, that's fine, but for now, I feel like I have to give him and her a chance.], siding my feelings for him off in order for them to try to have a relationship. Him and I don't have to be friends for him to be a father, at least a part-time one.
