I can't either. I'm sure I would be disapointed and hurt.... But I would never stop loving my children. I don't know how that's possible.

I think it's pretty brave of them to go door to door when most people can't stand it in the first place lol. I just get irritated when they keep coming back.

Also, they act like I have never heard of their religion before. I've heard of them all, and you coming to my door isn't changing my mind lol.

oh Mae! That would have ticked me off!! They should respect people and their boundries AND they are not supposed to be in a woman's house when her husband isn't there or a male isn't present. Just letting you know. And if they are harrassing you, you can call their mission leader

I will never understand disowning your kids over things like that, ever. I've had kids join my church that have been disowned by their family for becoming Mormon, then I have seen Mormon's basically disowning their kids for announcing that they are gay.
Either way, I just sit back and think with all of the nasties in the world and THAT is what you are going to disown your kid over....really? C'mon people???
Please, doesn't these kind of differences make fabulous mocking and banter at the dinner table? Or is mine the only family that is jacked up like that???


On a sidenote.....I'd like to thank you all for this fabulous discussion. Because of all of you I had an amazing dream last night. I dreamed that it was the end of days and to my surprise there was a rapture! But I wasn't a part of it....crap  
And surprise, surprise....C turned out to be the anti-christ   I am so not kidding. In her corset that she used to have in her old avi. haha....she went around....anti-christing. She was very ruthless. And for some reason in my dream she has a british accent. huh? But she ended every evil and ruthless thought with an evil "HEH"
The dream seriously scared the crap out of me as I was dreaming it. I don't really take Revelations totally literally, but in my dream it was completely literal. Haha....so the horses and the monsters, the plagues, the whole bit. It was ruthless. And C, in her corset, uttering her wicked "HEH's" at the end of everything. When I woke up, I laughed my ass off though. I dreamed an Armegeddon BG dream.  
I thought you'd get a kick out of that C. haha!
