Late August Mommys

My due dates the 30th..and my ticker says I'm 8 months..
I told my friend that I had a month left, and we got into a big arguement about how I had two months left, because I was due at the end of August..and when July 30th comes, then it'll be one month.

So do I have one month left since I'm 8 months?
I hope so because I hate losing arguements lol

When July 30th comes then you'll have a month left...pregnancy isn't exactly 9 calendar months..

i think the way the tickers work is you are in the 8th month.... and the 9th month is four more weeks.... im throughly confused by the ticker and i usually just tell people how many weeks i have left to save arguements.

you have a mnth and like 3 weeks left til aug. 30th if you actually divide the 40 weeks by 4 weeks in a mnth you are technically almost prego for 10 mnths so

I was confused about this for awhile too! I had to dig out one of my pregnancy books! lol

yea, actually its 10 months, I'm 35 weeks and 4 days and will be 36 wks ( 9 months) on Friday, and I'm Due Aug. 08, I still have 4 weeks ahhhh! haha, but yea it sucks, Good luck momma =0)

Oh my goodness... You have no idea how long my husband and I have been trying to argue the fact that you really are pregnant for 10 months.... Given the average month is 4 weeks.... 40 divided by 4 is 10! haha... Stinks when you realize it though. Because once you are 7-8 months your already ready to have the baby! Then realize how much more time you have. But here nor there. good luck with you and your little bundle of joy  

ya know, I was always wondering the same thing, even though I knew pregnany was more 10 months long than 9, so I went online and did a lil research and found outwhat most people consider x amount of weeks in months...there's a chart I found on yahoo and I just go by that.

wow...that chart should help out a lot, but like everyone else has really said...pregnancy is more 10 months than it is 9 since full term is 40 wks and there are 4 wks in a month...i'm due august 7th and i'll be considered 9 months tomorrow! :] suuupppeeerrrrr exciting...4 wks til my baby girl is born!!
