will i go crazy with more kids? ne advise?

i only have one little boy and as a baby he was so easy but as a toddler he is a HAND FULL, i am scared that his little brother on the way will be too much for me to handle.

my mom told me that i am the only one of of my sisters and i that could handle 10 kids, so two i'll be fine with. i am just not that confident as she is about me. plus with DH being in the army and scheduled to deploy again in 2009 around when baby #2 is 6-9mos that's makes me MORE scared.

any advise?

Enjoy your time with your husband while you have him there. Take advantage of how much help he will be as long as he can be. I used to ask myself if I could really handle my second child. Then when she was born we got full custody of his oldest daughter so I went from 1 to 3 all at once. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Just keep in mind that no matter what happens in life you have to live it. Life just keeps going and you have to keep up. Don't worry, you'll do what you have to do when the time comes. All of us do, it's just the mom in us. Good luck sweetie.

I feel the same way. My little ones will only be 16 months apart and my daughter is a very active toddler. Some days when she is into everything and just not listening I almost cry thinking about what I'm going to do with another baby. My plan is just to take things one step at a time and try to take time to enjoy the good times with my kids. They grow up so fast and the good memories of building block towers, trips to the park,and bedtime kisseswill more than make up for the difficult times that are sure to be there. Just try to stay strong, be flexible, and have confidence in yourself. You can do it mama!

I think it will be okay....but at times be challenging!...I have 3 kids already and now I am pregnant with my 4th! OMG! what was I thinking?......anyways 2 of my kids r pretty independent and in school n stuff but my lil one is barely turning 2 in September and he is my wildest baby yet!...and so far its going okay....u just need to drink alot of coffee to keep up.

i was terrified when i found out i was pregnant again. i thought i just wouldn't be able to do it with them so close in age. once he was actually born though, it really wasn't as hard as i thought. you just have to have confidence in yourself, that's how you'll get through it. mine are 11mos apart so it's a little hard but i get through it. no melt downs yet.. lol.

My kids are 10 1/2 mos apart and its a challenge sometimes but its not as bad as it seems. As long as your organized or whatever and you obviously know what your doing now with kids, you'll be fine! My son is also very active but once your used to it it gets better I swear and his dad works mon-sat all day til like 10pm. The first is always harder thenafter that you know what ur doing and things are alot easier!

I just had a post bout the same thing. I have a daughter 5 and a son just turned 2. Im due next month. And scared shitless...about having 3. But they say once youve had a child ...anymore wont be a problem. I guess due to our patience we already have. Goodluck!!
