How long after you stopped taking Terbutaline did you go in to labor?
My Doctor wants me to stoptaking terbutaline in 2 weeks... I am 32weeks 5 days today.
Being induced does not count k...Thanks ladies!

I stopped at like...34 weeks, and my water broke PAST my due date

So I guess the meds don't completely stop working when you stop tking them...hmmm
I'm not sure if it's braxton...or contractions.. but when I forget to take my pill sometimes my stomach gets really, really hard... sometimes it hurts.. and it seems like 15 an hour or so after I take the pill... they stop,

i stopped at 36 weeks had him the next day

I stopped at 37 weeks but I had a c-section 2 days after I stopped taking it.

WEll, I still had braxton hicks, but my dr. took me off then becaise they made me SOO sick.
I only took them if I started having contractions.

The terbutaline makes me super jittery.. keeps me up at night...my leggs move involuntarily(only when I'm asleep, which wakes me up),I get muscle cramps..IN MY ARMS... BLAH!
I have been on it for about 6 weeks now.

I had the same thing. Often on the pill even. I stopped taking them at 37 weeks and didn't go into labor until I was 40 weeks 4 days! It can happen any time. Sorry for not being much help. I was certain I'd go early since I'd been having preterm labor from 27 weeks on!

Oh man i had the same thing they gave me ambien to help me sleep at night cause i was up all night with the muscle cramps.. I went on it at 29 weeks and at my 36 week app i was 2 cm and 50 percent and she said well you can stop taking it and within 2 weeks you will have him.. then the next day i had him he pretty much flew out too. He was great he weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and we went home 2 days later.

If you are having regular uterine activity without the medication, you will probably deliver soon after it is stopped. Have you gotten steroid shots? I think I asked you that before, but I've forgotten your answer. 32 weekers usually do as well as term babies in the long run. Of course a few more weeks would be great! If you have had the shots and deliver at basically 35 weeks, I'd say you can bet on having little to no complications with your baby. Good luck!

Yes, I had the steroid injection at 26 weeks.
I have a feeling that he will come pretty soon after I stop the meds. I am so nervous! I am not nesting  
I still need to buy the crib, monitors, wipe warmer, a diaper bag... BLAH.. It has been hard since I didn't have a babyshower.

I was put on terbutaline and bedrest when I was about 34 weeks. They wanted to put me on the pump I said no way and stopped taking it all together after I found out it's possible side effects.  2 weeks later I had a c-section ordered by the specialist and my ob.
