The Last Hair Dying....

So I sit here at my computer...since i'm a do it homer when it comes to hair...waiting for my black hair dye to process...i look like a troll at the moment with my hair spiked in the hair, so i don't ruin my clothes...then when it is done, i will rinse, cut my hair and call it a day

this is a momentous occasion..this is the last time i will be dying my hair because on july 25th, i will be trasnferring my embryos and then thus will begin the two week wait..so naturally of course, i want be as beautiful as possible when that handsome doctor has me in stirrups ..lol.. just teasing..

Just read your cite. Just want to let you know that I have PCOS and it took 2 long ass years. Needless to say....my first son was born in April 2005. I was pg. May 2006...on my own...surprise and pregnant again...with twins, on my own....double suprise due in January. IT WILL HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do they have you on metformin? I have been on it for over five years. I just want to make sure that they are prepping your body for the transfer. You want you hormones to sustain the pg. You may already know all this...but I have a friend ttc with PCOS right now and I am amazed at the crap they don't tell her.

I hate to break it to you, but once you are pregnant and your taking prenatals, your hair will grow like CRAZY, so most of what is colored now will be grown out (or if you keep you hair short, gone) by the time you are in stirrups. I'm dying to get my hair highlighted again.....I miss being a blonde.

She is going IVF and is having her embryos placed back in her. Transferring them from the incubator to the uterus.

i am well aware and thank you... i am going to be 26 and i have a whole bologna load of greay hair , so i am used to having roots up the ying yang!!!!! it looks extremely sexy

they definately do not have me on metformin...i am on estrogen injections twice a week to prepare my uterus...i went to the doctor today and she said everything looks great..so then i go to progesterone suppositories to prepare it even further..i am doing IVF..so my protocol is much different than it would be if i were just trying to conceive naturally..   thank you for the insight though..a friend of mine is on metformin and she hatessssssssssssssssssssssss it

I'm a do it at home gal myself, though I've been lazy lately and now have half black half brown hair yuck!

Well, let's think positive and say that you are going to be pregnant after the transfer, so it's going to be like 3 more months without dying your hair. I'm telling you that from my own experience. I had been a blonde since forever and my roots were showing so bad. I changed my hair to brown at 3 months and now i hate it and i just waiting to pop out to change it back.I'm sending you lots of luck with you transfer. everything is going to be fine!!!!

Yes, IVF is wonderful. They take out the eggs then either inject the sperm into the eggs or mix the sperm with the eggs. It depends on how the sperm is [for example: how quick they swim and how healthy they are]

Then the embryologists watches the embryos for 3 to 4 days to make sure they mature enough to place back into the uterus.

There is a very long process before a womens body is ready for egg retrieval such as hormone shots and sometimes different oral medicines. As well as many transvaginal ultrasounds to watch the follicals grow on the ovaries.
