I told my daughter!

I went to the Dr yesterday and heard the heartbeat for the first time. I was so happy considering I miscarried very early on last year. I'd been waiting to tell my 4 year old and yesterday I finally broke the news to her. She was so happy! First thing she asks is "Can I see it?" and pools up my shirt. She keeps calling the baby her sister and I explained to her that it could be a baby brother too. Last night before bed she gave my belly a kiss and she kept saying she felt the babys legs (lol prob one of my fat rolls). She is so excited and Im so glad that I finally got to share the news with her! Just wanted to share this with you ladies. Thanks!!

how cute is that i remember when i was pregnant with my last daughter my other daughter would come and kiss my belly...oh i miss that maybe it's time for another baby lol

How cute! Don't you love that! My five year old went to lay his head on me the othe rnight (like he's done a thousand times) and stopped and asked if it was okay. I love it when you realize your kids are nurturing and caring for something that is still largely conceptual to them. He does want an older sister, though and I keep telling him it's not gonna happen!

My daughter was 4 when we found out about the baby also. She was so amazed by it. My son that was 2 at the time wanted a brother so bad. He's 3 now and the baby is 3 months and he asks all the time if he can have a brother. My daughter is now 5 and she just knew the whole time that she was having a sister and everytime we went grocery shopping she wanted to buy the baby sister an outfit. Kids are so amazing!

I wish my son can be excited, he is 4 years old and the funny thing is he was born on christmas eve and we are having this one on christmas day. when I told him I am expecting he said "good thing you ate him". I really hope it gets better.

We went to walmart last night and my daughter wanted to buy the baby an outfit. It is so amazing how mature they do start to act. Me and my boyfriend were laughing about something and she told me Shh your going to wake up the baby lol.

It's funny because my 7 year old started asking about how that baby was coming out of my belly. So my husband told her exactly how and she came in the room screaming "I CAME OUT OF YOUR VAGINAL HOLE" I have never laughed so hard in my life. She was so traumatized by it, and all I could do was laugh.
