re: Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo

posted 7th Jul
There was a thread on this about a week ago (if you want more opinions).

I just bought this for my son just over a week ago and he absolutely loves it. He was getting too big and too active for his swing so this was a great replacement for that. I try not to keep him in there for too long so that he doesn't get bored of it, but he's pretty content to bounce around in there for a while. At this point, he doesn't really play with the toys on it because he still gets a kick out of bouncing, but at least he's got some stuff to grow into.

He just discovered the parrot...

Feyana has loved her Jumperoo from the beginning. She's a tiny peanut so I had books and blankets piled under her for the longest time.

This was her at 4 months. She's 8 months now and still enjoys it!

I bought one for Hailey when she was 5 months old..by 7 months she wanted NOTHING to do with it.

At 1yr, I sold it and bought a toy she would play with NOW.

My niece got one at 5 months and she is 7 months and probably hasn't played with hers in a month.

Now my daughter had a swing, bouncer and a walker..she used the walker up until 11 months when I took it away. The others she "outgrew" alot quicker.

If he can't reach the floor just put a book under him. We had to for Lucas for a while.

thats what I kinda figured but I also noticed how heavy the seat part was in the rainforest jumperoo and was worried he wouldn't be able to bounce it much.... but he can only do so much in the walker right now and I need SOMETHING else that he can stand and play in... because my whole day is this and bouncing him around and it's exhausting!!

Edan started using it at 3 months, but he's a short baby (6 months and only 24 1/2 in) so we just put stuff under his feet so he could still jump. He didn't really care much for the toys until just recently, but he's always jumped in it.He doesn't need anything under his feet now.

I got this along with the swing and he's been using itsince he was 2 months. He's now 8 months and loves it. He's a little on the small side so he had to use books for a while so he could jump. It really has made his legs strong and he's going to be walking soon because of it.
