Sharp pains on right side of belly is this normal?

posted 6th Jul '08
I was in the store a few minutes ago walking around when all of a sudden this sharp pain hits me in the right side of my belly and it sorta wrapped around to the right side of my back....I noticed this only happened when i was walking around and when i stood still or sat down it eased alot but didnt completely go away.Has anyone else had this problem?I dont remember experiencing anything like this with my first pregnancy....

I used to get sharp cramps on the right side of my tummy & lower back. They thought i might have been having a miscariage. They were so wrong!!! I saw a specialist. they said cramps are common in the first trimester, some woman have them their whole pregnancy, my sister did, she even had spotting during most of her pregnancy. I'm sure everything is just fine.

yeah i had this when i was like 5 months pregnant, it was extremmelllyyy painful and it wouldn't go away, i couldn't even move so after a while i ended up going to the hospital and the doctor basically told me it was just either a muscle pain or a round ligament pain, gave me some pain meds and sent me home, i'm tellin ya though it was one of the most painful things i've ever experienced
