::labor story::

Thursday night I had contractions about 3-4 min. apart so me and my husband went to the hospital to get checked on. after 2 hours they were saying if I dont dilate anymore, then I just have to go home w/ horrible painful contractions. so I went to the hospital at 2 cm dilated. and they checked me again and said I haven't dilated. and that they were going to check back in 2 more hours. after about an hour the contractions got stronger and stronger and I was in even more pain and started bursting out crying. and they said I dilated to a 3. so they admitted me thank goodness. I arrived at the hospital at 12 midnight and was in labor for like 9 hours. I dont think I could of survived w/o the epidural, lol. so now I have a perfectly healthy baby boy, Brice. 7 lbs 0 oz, 19 1/2 inches long.. born July 3, 2008.. his due date was july 16th. I couldn't be more happier.

Wow thats so awesome! I had kinda that happen to me only i wasnt so fortunate lol I was in and out of the hospital for about 2 weeks with perfect contractions and only dilated to 2cm so they kept stripping my membranes YAY for me ha ha and finally one morning i said this is it cause they were intense so my hubby came home again lol from work and we went in and after being there for about 30 min. they checked me and said i was still 2 cm so they gave me some prescriptions for some drugs and sent me home. Funny part is that when we gotto the pharmacy which is in the hospital my water broke right in the middle of the hallway lol how embarassing! So we rushed back up again, they check me in, and man did it get painful after that. My contractions never let up it was just one right on top of another. So they came in a half hour later and i was 3 they said they would bring in the anesthesiologist for my epidural he came in about 30 min after that. I got my epidural and about 2 hours later they checked me again and i was at 8cm and wondering why i was still in pain.....the dr. guy didnt hook up my drugs lol so after he finally hooked everything up right i only had like a half hour of drugs and then i pushed my son out in like 20 minutes quite shocking. i really dont remember much of it lol.

Awww! he's so darn cute! Congrats to you!! You look sooo happy!!! : ) I have to say I can't believe how great you look in that last picture considering you justwent through labor!! I hopeI look like that after I have my son lol
